Our Story
MadiSON, JackSON, AlliSON, & HudSON! 4 brothers and sisters from Oakdale, California! SONS Farm Fresh began with us selling our chicken eggs. In summer 2018, our chickens were laying so many eggs that our family of six couldn’t eat them all, and we eat eggs everyday! We made an Instagram account and posted our eggs for sale. Within minutes we sold out. We were not expecting all the love and support we received by this one egg post. Jackson mentioned how our fruit and vegetables were just beginning to ripen and how we can sell our almonds that we harvest here on our farm as well. We all thought that we would give it a shot so we continued selling our eggs and then added cherries and almonds. Once again, we were not expecting to sell out so quickly and receive so much love and support! This gave us so much motivation to begin our fruit stand. We were given the opportunity to have a spot for the fruit stand, 1936 East F Street. Many local farmers helped us along our journey of building our fruit stand and we are so grateful for that. With a lot of hard work, we were able to build our fruit stand, SONS Farm Fresh. This business has taught us many things and we have loved every second of it. We appreciate each of our customers. We’ve made some of the most amazing friendships with y’all and we hope to continue to make many more as the years go on! Thank you for all your love and support, we couldn’t do it without you!
All of our honey is raw and local. Our honey gets it’s “flavor” depending on where the beehives are located. For example, orange blossom honey comes from Clovis area. The beehives are in orange groves, which gives this flavor of honey a hint of citrus.
Orange Blossom is our most popular honey. It has great flavor with a hint of citrus!
Wildflower is the best for allergies because it is the most local. The beehives are located along the river in Oakdale. One spoonful a day keeps those sneezes away!
Sage is our lightest flavor of honey. It is a perfect sweetener for your coffee or tea. We also use it as a sugar substitute for baking or cooking since the sweetness isn’t very intense!
